Are your safety manuals OSHA-approved?
OSHA will not approved nor disapprove any
provider's safety manuals for liability
purposes. OSHA simply establishes the
regulatory requirements that companies must
use to develop written safety manuals.
Our written safety manuals comply with both
state and federal OSHA regulations.

Will your safety manual make my company
completely OSHA-compliant?
Simply put, no. No safety manual will
do that and if someone claims their's does,
they are providing you misleading and
incorrect information. Our safety
manuals do comply with both state and
federal OSHA regulations, however, since
DigitalREG®
is not physically present on
your jobsite we cannot have any way on
knowing each and every hazard present in
your work environment. Our manuals are
developed based upon the safety programs you
select in the pre-order survey.
In addition, the safety manual is simply
your plan to provide a safe workplace and
comply with applicable state and federal
OSHA regulations. It is your
responsibility to implement and manage your
safety manual and program (i.e. employee
safety training, safety inspections, provide
PPE). Do not put your safety manual on
a shelf and forget about it!

|
Are your safety manuals copyrighted?
Definately! Many companies claim their
materials are indeed copyrighted but the
truth is, they are not. DigitalREG®
highly
recommends that you ensure that the material
you purchase has a "registered" copyright or
at the very least, the provider has made
application for copyright. If you purchase
a product that a provider has copyright
infringed upon then you too can be held
legally liable. All of our products have
both U.S. and international "registered"
copyrights and/or applications for copyright
have been made.

Can I put your safety manual on our company
intranet?
Yes, as long as the document is only
available to "your" employees. Placing
our documents on the "internet" for general
public access is strictly prohibited by
our copyright restrictions.

|
Can I provide a copy of this manual to a
customer and/or general contractor?
Yes. For many customers this is the
primary reason they are ordering a safety
manual. DigitalREG®
encourages
customers to provide an email copy of the
"PDF" version to customers and general
contractors. First of all, customers
and general contractors prefer this method
so that they do not have several hardcopies
lying around their office. The "PDF"
version decreases the risk of third party
copyright infringement. Please never
send the Microsoft Word® version to
individuals outside of your company.

Will I get a printed and bound hardcopy of
my safety manual?
If you would like a printed and bound
hardcopy of your safety manual simply place
a check in the appropriate box on the order
form. There are additional charges for
printed and bound hardcopies.

What is
your refund policy?
Due to the high risk of copyright
infringement, no refunds will be issued on
safety manuals or other products provided in
electronic format. We apologize for
the strictness of this policy and hope you
understand.

Do I have to give every employee a copy of
my safety manual?
You can if you like, however, it is not
required. You should give every
employee an opportunity to review your new
safety manual. DigitalREG®
recommends
that each employee even sign off that they
have viewed your safety manual, understand
and will comply with its requirements.
We recommend you keep a copy of your company
safety manual at each jobsite and make it
accessible to your employees.

Why should I choose DigitalREG™ over other
providers?
DigitalREG®
encourages you to carefully research the
qualifications of any individual or entity
you choose to handle your compliance
issues. Attorneys, professional safety
consultants (i.e. CSP, ASP, CIH), and former
government regulatory officers are examples
of competent individuals . In our opinion,
chiropractors, construction contractors and
the similar lack the detailed experience,
education and regulatory knowledge
necessary, and only increase your overall
safety and compliance liability.
Our staff is comprised of professional
safety consultants and attorneys. The owner
of the company formerly served
directly under the Attorney General. Our
staff does not simply write safety manuals.
We have handled hundreds of OSHA defense and
litigation cases taken all the way to the
solicitor general. Our trainers are all
certified OSHA outreach trainers.
